Mid winter bargain time – half price on all camellias this Friday and Saturday

While mid winter can be discouraging (and we have had quite enough of unsettled weather and thunderstorms after close to a week of it), we are open for plant sales on Fridays and Saturdays. The beauty of gardening in our conditions is that there is always pretty plant material in flower. But with plant sales deathly slow at the moment, we are offering half price on all camellias – no exceptions – this Friday and Saturday.
There are some attractive standards, pillars and specimen plants along with options for hedging. Check our plant sales for most varieties on offer (and halve the price this week). We also have big field grown plants which are not listed but are ideal for instant hedging. As always, you have to collect the plants yourself or we can hold them if you pay for them, until you can find someone to collect on your behalf at some point over the next few months.
Snowdrop season - $10 a pot
If camellias are not your preference, the dwarf daffodils and snowdrops may appeal – though these are not half price. Narcissus Twilight is one of the best dwarf forms for the garden – bred here by Felix Jury and proven over time. Galanthus S Arnott and G. elwesii are both in flower at the moment and perform well in range of climates, including milder areas.
